Get ready to unlock your creativity and take center stage at ATEAM's Improv Masters Camp in San Jose! Join us this summer for a week-long journey that promises to be unforgettable.

Our camp is designed to equip students with improvisation skills that transcend the boundaries of theater, extending to public speaking and film. From energizing warm-ups and engaging theater games to honing vocalization, projection, and improvisations from script, our program covers the full spectrum of improv techniques.

Campers will delve into the intricacies of subtext, master the art of story-building, bring characters to life through characterization, explore blocking and speech techniques, and cap it all off with a final performance that showcases their newfound mastery of improvisational arts.

Led by experienced instructors, ATEAM's Improv Masters Camp is not just about learning; it's about fostering self-expression, confidence, and the ability to think on one's feet. The supportive and dynamic environment encourages campers to embrace the spontaneity of improv and apply it across various facets of their lives.

Instructor Ryan Morris is artist, musician, actor, chef and entrepreneur. A Bay Area native, Mr. Morris has been creating art and teaching kids is entire life and loves doing it. He taught art at St Nicholas private school in Los Altos Hills for the last year, and prior to that turored ages five through 13 In Santa Monica and Los Altos since 2004. 

After earning a BFA in sculpture from the Academy of Art in 2004, Mr. Morris moved to Santa Monica, California and opened Flying Saucers Caffeine and Art, a coffee house/art gallery that became a beloved local landmark until he sold it and moved back to Los Altos Hills in 2012.

Ryan is excited to join ATEAM for this summer series 2024.
